my number didn't double...cramping...m/c? - Miscarriage & Still Birth Message Board

So, my 2nd beta came back at an 84. It was a 64 on Wednesday, so it didn't even come close to doubling. My doctor said it didn't double like it should have and we could repeat the test next week and said I could pick the day (Monday, Wednesday or Friday) and of course, I picked Monday. I asked him if there was a chance I could lose this pregnancy and he said yes. Since then, I've had pretty sharp cramping pains...no blood yet. So, I'm guessing it's pretty much over.

Is there any hope left? Has there been anyone that had their numbers not double and it just turned out to be a slow grower and a successful pregnancy? Should I not keep my hopes up about this? I don't know what to think!?!?!

Im sorry to hear about your 2nd beta results. Don't throw in the towel yet. You have received so many miracles and this just may be another one! I will keep you and your family and new little one in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there!

km...I am soooo sorry!!! I certainly know how you are feeling. There is nothing I can say to make it any better! I just hope things do go better for you on Monday. I am thinking about you!!!

Oh no KM! I'm so sorry. Of course I can't say anything to make it feel better, but I will definitely keep you in my thoughts this weekend. I hope Monday comes quickly. - April
