how to know if you are having a miscarriage? I am bleeding really heavy and hurt really bad. I also am passing huge blood clots. I was late for my period by 2 weeks.

Sorry to read you are having a bad time. I don't really know how you would know if you are having a m/c or not unless you took a home pregnancy test. If you are having a m/c the chances are it would still be positive.

It's possible that you might be having a miscarriage, or you could have had a cyst/polyp that burst. My first experience with a miscarriage was at 8 weeks and began with blood gushing down my leg after my shower. My second resulted in a D&C at 13 weeks as I never lost the baby on my own after waiting for 2 weeks. I have had a cyst before that caused me to be late, and boy did it hurt after. I had bad cramps and a lot of bleeding but I know I wasn't pregnant.
