do you bleed during a molar pregnancy

i went for a scan last week because i was having abdominal pains im around 7 weeks but at te scan i was told that they couldnt see a foetus but they could see what looked like an abnormal placenta. I've had no bleeding and the pains have subsided but im woried it could be a molar pregnancy i was also told i had high hCG levels, what do you think ?

Re: do you bleed during a molar pregnancy

It does sound like a molar pg. What are they doing next? I had a partial molar pg, I saw baby at 9 weeks perfectly healthy, then at 11 weeks they couldnt find a h/b. A complete molar pg is when there is no baby, but all the "stuff in the placenta. The scan didnt show anything wrong with the my babys placenta, but when it came back from lab, it was confirmed. I had no cramping either. good luck.
