| Re: how d i know if im having an eptopic pregnancy ?
I realize that you posted this question some time ago, and I hope you didn't have an ectopic pregnancy. I had an ectopic pregnancy two and a half years ago, so I thought I'd give you some info (just in case you are still wondering).
I had horrible cramps, they felt 100x worse that period cramps. Toward the end of my pregnancy (i knew I was pregnant for 10 days before they figured out that my pregnancy was ectopic, by that time I was 6 weeks), I had a slight fever, 100 degrees. I also had pain in my right shoulder. Apparently, right shoulder pain is indicitive of a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. From what I was told, there really isn't any specific symptoms that would indicate an ectopic pregnancy instead of a miscarriage; having severe cramping on one side is a possible symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy. However, if the severe cramping occurs on the right side, it's easy to mistake it for appendicitis. Well, I hope this information is hopeful.
