Stillbirth @ 23 weeks

Does anyone know if you can get pregnant 2 1/2 weeks after a still birth that was delivered by a C-section? I am still bleeding from the pregnancy and my doctors said I won't have a cycle for about 4-6 weeks.

Re: Stillbirth @ 23 weeks

It is possible you can ovulate in that time period during your first cycle. Not guaranteed, but possible. That's why Drs recommend to abstain/use protection that first month or more (usually 3 is recommended), so that you don't get pg again before you're recovered from the loss and your and body's ready.

If you're still bleeding, you're probably not ovulating. Your ovulation would most likely happen after the bleeding stopped and your cm was clear, stretchy and slippery.

Sorry for your difficult loss.
