| Was this a miscarriage?
Recently I started bleeding heavily unexpectedly. I take my pill without breaks for a few months at a time, so I have no idea whether or not I was late. I had no sickness or swelling that I noticed, but i did have unprotected sex about a month before. But a few days into extremely heavy bleeding, I was using the toilet and noticed a grey clot on the pad. It was peanut shaped (two round parts together) and had a red cord-like thing coming from it. It was the texture of rubber. There were small other minor clots which are very dark red throughout the course of the bleeding. The bleeding lasted about 8 or 9 days.
I apologize for being graphic, but I'm obviously worried. Ive taken a pregnancy test which was negative, although I'm reading that hormone levels can return to normal pretty quickly.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
