 Molar pregnancy? Help...
My mind is in a whirl. I can't shut it off!
History:
Two healthy uncomplicated pregnancies, minor nausea bad pelvic pain. Regular stuff. The most recent pregnancy was over 5 months ago, I had a beautiful healthy baby boy.
No history of anything.. no complications or health concerns.. The Beau and I have no history of twins. (This factor will come into play in a minute)
Whats going on now:
I'm 11 weeks pregnant, up until a week or so ago I had horrible nausea and fatigue. I've been suffering from terrible constant headaches!! I have one right now! It's so unlike the other two children. At 8 weeks I had my initial bloodwork taken. My levels were over 220,000. According to fundal measurments, it appears as though I'm measuring about 16-18 weeks! My doctor ordered an ultrasound for this week. I've only had one period since I gave birth to my son, and became pregnant right after. I also took a pregnancy test the day before my period started.. so I know my dates are correct.
There are no twins in either of our families... I'm so scared this is a molar pregnancy.. I havent had any other symptoms so I'm hopeful.
Does anyone know anything about molar pregnancies??
