hi my name is melissa and i have just had my 2nd miscarriage and i dont understand why or how to prevent this. i as soooo very sad and frustrated because i dont know where to turn now. is there any body there who can give me some advice

There are many reasons. See your obgyn. How far were you, was there an actual baby, blighted ovum. Are you testing too early?

i was 11 and a half weeks just 3 days shy of 12. i had an ultrasound done at 8 weeks and 3 days and everything seemed to be good. good growth , good heartbeat and everything seemed to be going as planned. last year at this same time i lost twins. it seems that i loose the baby at about 10 weeks is there something i am missing. mt dr is scheduling me for some tests next week but is there something specific me/we should be looking for. therre was an actual baby i was able to hold it briefly i know that is very morbid but i just needed the closure.

Yes, once you get pregnant your dr should be giving your progesterone. Three out of my five were multiples as well. Did he do a work up? All your blood tests? He should have checked for everything but sometimes progesterone will hold a pg.

yes as far as i know progesterone was checked, i do know that a whole series of blood work was done at my first prenatal appointment and my dr said everything looked good. it seems that i am not ovulating on a regular basis even though my periods are as regular as clockwork is there something going on related to my age possibly
