Could Fibromyalgia diagnosis really be MS?
I've posted a lot on this board under the fibromyalgia topic, and read a lot of the postings on MS. I was diagnosed with fibro 10 years ago, the doctor made a quick reference to possible MS at that time, but thought that it was fibro. I've been being treated for fibro since then, and it appears to me that a lot of my symptoms are the same as those with MS. I'm wondering if maybe the original slight thought of MS years ago should have been looked at a bit closer. I have numbness all the time on my right side, especially in my hand and leg. I have electric shock feelings from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. I'm in constant pain and find it very difficult to walk. My eyesight continues to decline, especially in the dark. I have memory loss and loose my train of thought all the time plus I stutter which really frustrates me, I never used to stutter! I did have an MRI years ago, I was told it was inconclusive. I'd be interested in hearing any feedback. Thanks!
