Hello,

I was just wondering about Lhermittes sign. I have heard from various people that this affects everyone different and some people feel the shock in their legs or arms instead of down their spine.

I actually have two questions that I am hoping someone can shed some light on for me.

First. I have, in the past experienced an electric shock like feeling (very painful) down my legs and occasionally down my arms. I am not sure if this was caused from me moving me head towards my chest. The pain was pretty severe and I really didn't take note as to what I was doing at the time.

The shock was very quick and would come over and over, throughout the day. This lasted for about 1.5 months then gradually subsided.

The second question I have. I have noticed lately, when I bend my head quickly down to my chest, I get this feeling in my spine. It does hurt, feels like this quick burn that runs down my spine, usually in the middle of my spine. It almost feels like my spine is being pulled or something. It is very weird. Has anyone else experienced this? This a new sx that has only been happening for the past week or so.

Has anyone experienced either or both of these sx and would either be a form of L'Hermittes sign
