LYB,
Hi......I am suffering from similar symptoms after having a stomach virus. Did your symptoms develop shortly after, like in a matter of days after the virus? I have muscle weakness/stiffness, muscle twitching/spasms, tremors, tingling, pins and needles and these wonderful stabbing pains which occur at random. I thought at first a virus attacked my CNS because in a matter of weeks, my symptoms went away and I felt much better but now they have returned and I have developed new symptoms. I'm going through the testing process right now and haven't been dx with anything. I wish at the time I was being treated for the stomach flu in the emergency room they would have tested to see what virus it was but at that time, I didn't posess any other symptoms. There are lots of viruses that can cause the symptoms that you are having, but you would have to be tested for that shortly after the attack to see what type of virus it is. Your right, MS is the worst it can be, but either way, you should see your doctor and see if you can get to the bottom of this. Good luck.......
