Your symptoms do sound suspicious, but keep in mind that the symptoms that are linked with MS are similar to many other illnesses. Your best bet would be to see your GP and ask to be referred to a neurologist who will/should order an MRI and maybe other tests. Usually the MRI (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) is one of the first tests.
The vision problems could be ON (Optic Neuritus) but it could also be many other things. My bet is that others who frequent here can offer you some first hand info.

Remember, this is your health and if your doctor seems to be blowing you off, force him/her to take you seriously or see another Dr.! Be forcefull if need be, but don't let people tell you it's in your head!
