do lesions start in brain?

I read somewhere on a post here that lesions typically start in the brain first and then move to the spine as the MS progresses. . is this the case?

Re: do lesions start in brain?

Hi,
I've never heard of that before. My daughter's first lesions were in her c-spine.

Regards,
Julie
