Tammy, playing the waiting game is hard. I am having to wait two more weeks to get in to see a MS Specialist to have test done to see if I have MS. I have blurry vision, leg pain, weakness in arm, fatigue, and dizziness. I have had a cervical fusion of C5-6 ten years ago, it didn't help, I still have problems with my shoulder. At the time the neuro said my disc wasn't protruding enough to cause all the problems I was having, perhaps it was because it wasn't the disc causing my problems? Guess I will never know for sure.
I am surprized the doc didn't do more for you since lesions were present and you had dizziness and blurred vision. I would think he would want to stop the disease from progressing. That is another thing that is hard to take, trying to get the doc's to understand how frightening all this is to us and that waitng makes it worse, and that we feel awful and need help now not whenever they get around to it. My primary doc says this guy is worth the wait, I sure hope so.
My shoulder makes a popping noise when I walk but thankfully does not hurt all the time. I also get a jolt when I move my head wrong, but it goes up my head. Be sure to start a journal, if you haven' t already, of all your symptoms and how you feel each day. It will help you when you go into see your doctor to let him see how the symptoms are affecting you. I also keep track of my meds in my journal. So I can remember when, how much, what changes and so forth. My doctor says she finds my journal very helpful. Hang in there and try to stay calm!!!!
