Question Feet spasms?

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has this happen.It only happens in bed or in the recliner,my feet will go straight up,like I am flexing my foot muscle,but its unvoluntary.It does'nt hurt,just weird,lol

I've never had that happen, but my feet spasm and my toes curl. I have to get up and walk around to get rid of the cramps. It happens several times a day. My calves cramp up also.

Hi purple,
Thanks for the post,I have had the toes curl,like when a kitten claws ya,drives me crazy!Just the last week they started shooting up,it has stopped today.Walking around helps mine also,Thanks,

i was getting the same symptoms that you described. only i also constantly also stretched my calfs and twisting my ankles like i had to crack them it drove me nuts, when i went to my neuro apt he prescribed me skelaxin (it works great)

Hi camellic,
Yes it does drive me nutts also,thank goodness it did'nt last but a week or less.Is the med you received a relaxer?Did your neuro say if it was from ms?

yes he did, i also had tight calfs where i felt that un-believable urge to s t r e t c h them. the skelaxin is mild which i like and it helps me a great deal. now i can have a better nights sleep

Thanks for the info camille.These new things happening are driving me crazy!I am used to the pain and fatique,blurry vision etc...,had them for years.I don't like to take many meds but I will look into the skelaxin.My calves get tight also,almost like a mild charlie horse.
