| Is MS ruled out by blood tests?
Hi everyone.
Recently posted in back forum, but wanted to check if my symptoms may be MS related rather than spinal. (My father died from complications of MS).
Back pain radiating to hips both sides.
Stabbing pain, tingling and numbness in the genitals.
Pain/cramping, stiffness in left leg muscles.
Numbness and tingling left foot.
More frequent urination than normal.
Erectile dysfunction (but wierdly, sponataneous erections).
Inability to ejaculate.
Semen at tip of penis during bowel movement and after urination
Severe shock-like headache in left side of face, radiating to jaw and eye, lasts a few seconds then numbness and dull headache.
Occasional bright zigzag flashes in eyes.
Excessive sweating, even when cold.
I've seen rheumatologist, who thinks it is spinal problem, but did various manual tests, stating I had abnormal neurological findings. I then had blood tests done-not sure what but there were a lot of them. These apparently were normal.
Would these normal blood results rule out MS, or do you think symptoms might indicate MS and I should see a neurologist?
Many thanks,
Steve.
