hi, i have twitching which as got worse, it is everywhere mainly legs, i can see it in my legs, like there is something inside moving? weird and annoying. is this typical of ms??? i heard that its a different type of twitch with ms? more od a tremor? please reply, thanks xx
I think twitching that you can see may be different from a ms tremor, just speaking for myself. When I get one,its like its in the bone and makes my whole limb move. The one in my jaw is constant, but I can't see it,I can feel it like my teeth are doing morse code, lol.Hopefully yours is not a tremor, more like when you get an eyelid twitch?Wish you well,Dessell
About 4 years ago I started twitching all over my body, particularly my legs. Some of the twitches last a long time and I can watch my skin move. It's weird. When it first started I went to my doctor and he watched them, too, and thought I should be checked for ALS. So I had a nerve conduction study done which was completely fine so I got a diagnosis of 'benign fasciculations.' I've heard of other people with this same problem. Annoying, but apparently harmless.
Since everybody is different, you should probably mention it to your doctor.
hi julia, im hoping its that too or fibro. im really frustrated as not getting any where. when i saw neuro i suggested bfs and he said no as he hadnt seen any fasculations while he examined me, they werent that bad then though. My gp dont believe in fibro either and is not referring me to a fibro person after mri, im going to a bladder specialist, april xx
