Possible MSer??

Hi, I have dealt with the following symptoms for about a year and a half:

Blurred vision head fog or groggyness, eyeball pain, loss of coordination, lack of concentration, fatigue, muscle spasms, tingling in arm and thumb, neck pain, shoulder pain, upper back pain, insomnia, depression, frequent urination, loss of libido, and heavy legs.

When the symptoms first appeared I went to the ED and was diagnosed with diabetes. Well, since then I have really controlled my blood sugars, lost about 35-40lbs, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. The symptoms seemed to get better after awhile (never went away fully) but then they returned. I have seen all sorts of Drs and had many of the standard tests, the main one being an MRI of the brain in March. I was told that nothing looked abnormal on the MRI and all other tests were negative as well. My question is has anyone been diagnosed with MS and had a negative MRI???

Thank you!

Yes! I had an MS diagnosis with clean MRIs for about 1.5 years after becoming symptomatic. I also have Type I diabetes. I presume you are Type II? It is possible you are suffering from neuropothy that is diabetes related. Only a neurologist could make that diagnosis.
