Do hot baths always cause exhaustion?

Hi,
I've been noticing over the past two-three weeks that I'm feeling weak in my legs and arms, particularly the shoulders, also having trembling in the hands and when I first awake in the morning, the blankets feel really heavy.
Today, I took a shower and almost collapsed, and the same thing happened when I went in my hot tub.
Are there any other conditions that you know of that cause this?
I'm going to try to make a doctor's appointment tomorrow.
If the heat does cause worsening of symptoms, how long should it take for you to recover?
I've had episodes in the past where I've had numbness, weakness, tingling, etc and an MRI of my brain had been negative.
Now I'm afraid I'm going to have to start over again.
I'm really scared.
Suz
Oops-I meant to ask-do the hot baths always cause worsening of symptoms-cuz it seems to me I've had this before, but got over it?
