Hi
I would like to know how much time there was between your first and second episode?
Did the second episode involve the same area and same symptoms?
In my husband's case he had his first episode (tingling in both arms, legs and right face) around the beginning of November, than the complaints subsided a bit but since a week he has all the same symptoms back in the same places.

My first attack i had opitic neuritis in my left eye then just last tuesday i lost feeling in my left hand kinda like it was sleeping but didnt come back I had to go to hospital steriod treatments for 4 days so my attacks were only 3 months apart and they have not yet put me on MS treatments ( cant figure that out.) I guess that they can come anytime. Mine so far are on on my left side. Has he been diagonsed yet?? Well I hope that this will help you. Let me know what you find out.

Hi Sabrina,
It was about six months between my first and second episode. The first time I had optic neuritis; the second time severe balance problems which landed me in the hospital and on intravenous steroids.
I had symptoms of a more subtle nature before that and before being diagnosed. Although I still have lingering symptoms from these episodes, I have remained stable with no attacks. Taking Avonex seems to have prevented this. Hope this helps.
