Is it possible for MS symptoms to come and go all day?
I have many MS symptoms which include: tingling in my legs, mild cramping in my calf muscles, facial tingling, headaches, muscle twitches, tingling wave sensations through my head and body(almost like the chills) and shooting pains that effect different spots all over my body. The only thing is they come and go all day long. I can have the tingly legs for 20 mintues then they are fine. Then I will have a muscle twitch in my thigh that could last 2 hours. The shooting pains come and go all the time. The facial tingling happens every few days. The headaches come for no longer than an hour. Sometimes for only a few minutes. Then it will come back 20 minutes later. It just doesnt make sense to me. I have never had any of these symtoms for an entire day or longer than 2 hours. The only thing that has lingered is the fatigue. I will be seeing the neurologist in 2 weeks. My family doctor set that appointment up for the tingling and cramping in my legs.

Very similiar to what happens to me. . start out perfect. . and then it comes and goes through the day. . I don't suffer from fatigue yet and am still able to run and lift weights and be active as I always was. . .

That happens to me as well. Muscle spasms in my back - affectionately called dance attacks - and shooting pains. Boom - happens. Then its gone. It may repeat but its there then not.

I was told on a board of another website that because none of the symptoms were not constant it probably wasn't MS. He also said that a doctor will not diagnose you unless you have the same symptom for 24-48 hours continuously.

I really don't know - I have been dxed. While my symptoms come and go they are pretty much the same - the eye weirdness has gone and the facial numbness isn't there anymore, but still the burning in the legs. All I have been able to really find out about MS is that there are no rules, gaurantees or promises - it just is the way that it is. . there are many different levels of MS and they know so little about it

Hi,
A few of my symptoms come and go thru the day like burning, numbness, pins and needles or shocks,,,but I have them everyday. Then there are ones that are constant like blurry vision, fatique, jaw tremor, back pain,,everyone is different, only all the tests and dx'd by a good doc can be conclusive. If in doubt, get checked out
Wish you well,Dessell
