Is pain associated with MS? Or is it just paralyzed muscles?

Re: Pain ???

Hi twila,
Tho we are all different,I have pain mostly in neck and back,it never goes away completely, pills help ease.Muscles are more spastic,or tightening rather than paralyzed. Are you going thru test or are you dx'd?
Wish you well,Dessell

Re: Pain ???

I haven't been diagnoised with MS. Suspected. Though my neurologist says no. I have lesions on brain. My right side of face is drooped. I get weak legs. Cold all the time. Also I have lots of pain in legs, neck, shoulders, and back. I have unsteady gait. I have been through many test.

Thanks for reply.

Re: Pain ???

why wouldn't you be diagnosed if you had lesions on your brain? i'm surprised how many people don't get diagnosed. i also had several lesions on my brian. my neurologist was wonderful. it seems like many of them aren't. i too have alot of pain in my shoulders and neck. the fatigue is the worst for me. accupuncture has helped significantly with the pain. best of luck and don't give up until you get a definite diagnosis
