| Got my brain MRI results...
For those of you good at reading MRI's I am going to post my results. From what I gather I don't have any lesions but they do talk about possible psuedotumor cerebri. Do any of you know about that? Here are my results?
FINDINGS: Axial T1, FLAIR, diffusion weighted images, sagittal T1
weighted images were obtained through the head. After intravenous
administration of Gadolinium, axial and coronal T1 weighted images
were obtained. No intracranial mass or mass effect is seen. No
parenchymal signal abnormality is identified. Note is made of a
partially empty sella. Frontal horns of the lateral ventricles are
also somewhat small in size and this can sometimes be associated with
a pseudotumor cerebri and would recommend clinical correlation with
regards to possible papilledema. No abnormal enhancing structures
are identified. Note is made of a few cervical lymph nodes
bilaterally which are upper limits of normal in size.
IMPRESSION:
1) No definite acute intracranial abnormalities or parenchymal signal
abnormality identified.
2) Partially empty sella turcica and somewhat small lateral
ventricles. This can sometimes be associated with pseudotumor
cerebri and would recommend clinical correlation as above.
