I just found out that my cousin has MS. Can anyone give me advice on how I can help her? I'm not sure of serious it it because my family won't talk about it.

Is there anything I can do?

YOU CAN SHOW YOUR SUPPORT BY BEING THERE FOR HER, AND GETTING ALL THE INFORMATION YOUR FAMILY WONT SHARE FROM WEBSITES AND READING MATERIAL. HOW OLD IS YOUR COUSIN??? well support comes in the way of love, just let her know that there is plenty medical advances being made daily, and help her lead a healthy life.....

Hi there chin up..... I am sure you will be there for your cousin and to be honest that will be all she needs from you right now. I am sureit was a shock to you but I would think it is something that she had already some to terms with, i know from our expreance that it was my husbands family that were hit the hardest, we had come to terms with it way before the time we were told. It is a weight lifted for us to be honset as he no longer has to explain him self all he has to say is I have MS he has his badge now makes life easier, and know we know we can make plans and move on. I am sure that is what your cousin will be doing too, if you need any one to talk to I am happy to help in any way. Regards Kirstine xx

Thanks, I'm just so worried. cause my parents are talking about how shes going to die.. and It's got me really scared.. I also honestly don't know much..I've just started to learn about it.
