What exactly do they do in an evoked potential test? I never had to have one and I was wondering what it's like. Do they do them routinely or just for diagnostic purposes? Appreciate your input!
You sit down, they stick electrodes to your head and you stare at a checker board for a few minutes. There are a few variations to the test, but it's essentially the same thing.
It's one of the more enjoyable tests. Short and completely painless .
