Hearing on SSD this Friday - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

I am nervous and don't know what quite to expect. The doctor that diagnosed me with MS I no longer see, because I had to move. These new doctors I've been seeing are trying to suggest Fibro. ? Anyways hopefully the attorney has all my medical documents, I havent been able to speak to him directly. If anyone has any input or suggestions on what to expect on my court day, I would really appreciate it . Thanks & good luck to everyone !

My daughter's court day went very smoothly. Her attorney had all of her medical records (which I think the OT for SS had already looked at them), and then I gave testimony. I think only one person can give testimony.

My daughter talked to the judge first while I waited outside. Then, unbeknownst to me, he asked me the same questions. I guess he wanted to know if our testimony would line up. Apparently it did. The judge then asked the SS OT if there was any job that my daughter would be able to perform. She said that there was not.

About 4 weeks later she got her letter saying she was approved.

I'm sure this process is different for everybody, but our experience was that it was not stressful at all, the judge was kind and the judgment was favorable.
