does MS cause tender spots on head & sharp pain?

My doctor said my brain MRI looks like I have MS. Some of the things that have been bothering me lately are very tender spots on my head, like right above my ear and lower back right of my head...and I also feel like my ear on that side is clogged a lot. Are these MS symptoms?

I also thought MS was hereditary, and no one as far as I know has it in my family. My doctor said it was probably caused by a viral infection. Is that possible?
