Re: vitamins & minerals?????

Please tell me if you learn anything about this! I am obsessed with nutrition, and always asking for dietary advice on how to ease symptoms and delay progression.

I was told by a man who lived with MS for 40 years that a regular GOOD B Complex vitamin helped him.

Re: vitamins & minerals?????

I take a b-complex, a good multi, selinum, flax oil and calcium/magnesium in addition to avoiding refined sugars, wheat and dairy. If I stick to it, I feel tons better.

Would that be true in general though? Or is it really MS specific to do those certain things?

There is a lot written about the benefits of these actions (no gluten, no dairy, no refined sugars) and MS specifically. However, I think you make a great point, these things are probably beneficial to most people!

Re: vitamins & minerals?????

Hi!! Due to the expense of the vitamens, I quit taking them for 2 weeks or so and I noticed that my fatigue was much worse, symptoms worse, and a general felling of not caring if I got off the couch or not....So, I decided to invest in more multi-vit, B-comp, soy lecithin, Omega 3's, sublingual B.... After 4 days I feel much better! At this stage of the game, I think that is so important to keep our heads in the game and just get on with living the best we can! Have a great day!!!
