In the past I've had tingling sensations in my legs, however, nothing else. It's been a little while since the last time, thus I haven't given it much thought. However, yesterday while walking, my leg seemed to "go numb" for lack of better words and I fell to the floor. I didn't trip over anything and the only thing that came to mind while I was in the floor was "What happened?" I haven't been able to figure it out as one minute I was walking & the next on the floor? Any thoughts?

Missy, I can only tell you what my primary symptoms were. I had numbness in my pelvic region and tingling (numbness) in my feet. I still have the feet but not the other problem (thank goodness). I was dx fairly quickly but most people aren't. MS is fairly difficult to dx. You may want to contact your primary.

About 15 or so years ago I went through several weeks of my whole right side (including my face) "slipping" for just seconds several times a day -- I never fell, but I developed a crazy gait, some handwriting gaffs, and slurry speech! Later, I thought it was a series of TIAs or "mini-strokes" of some kind because my brain would get it's wires crossed and the wrong word would come out, you know? -- never thought about MS until my 3rd bout of optic neuritis two and a half years ago... This was long before I was diagnosed, but the closest experience I've got.

PS: I would get your medical doctor to look into MS, but I would also see a chiropractor to see if it's a severely pinched nerve or something.
