is it possible?

My vision seems kind of dim this morning. It seems like I was in a room with a 100 watt bulb that just went to a 40 watt bulb. I was at the ophthalmologist the other day and he said that optic neuritis has NOT come back but there are some pigmentary changes. Now is this possible for my eyes to be doing this but not have optic neuritis? It's a nice cool day today so I can't blame it on the heat. I work in front of the computer all day long so its easier for me to notice this way. Any input would be appreciated. Those light flashes in my peripheral vision do not seem to want to go away either, mostly in the right eye, occasionally the left.

Re: is it possible?

My dr explained to me that with optic neuritis, even though the episode may be over, it leaves damage behind. That can act up, or get inflamed. It brings on some of the symptoms, though no new damage is occurring. Kind of like when a person with arthritis feels achy on a rainy day.
