does EVERYONE here have sinusitis?

It seems like so many posts refer to sinusitis and sinus infections. I have sinusitis myself. I remember one post saying that studies had been done about the corelation. Does anyone have more info on that?

Re: does EVERYONE here have sunusitis?

Hey ther Dijip,

All I know is that my MRI showed bad sinus infection. I didn't even know I had it cause of all the numbness, etc. I'd be interested to know if, in fact, there is any correlation? Interesting? Have since taken a Z-pack. Not sure if that got rid of it or not tho. I had a doc tell me one time that sinus inf. were very hard to get rid of because there's not much blood flow to the sinus cavities, therefore, the antibiotics have a hard time working on the inf. I'm still kind of stuffed up, but who knows. The pressure I feel could be my sinuses, ms, or steroids....it's tough to know what's what anymore!!LOL

I don't have trouble with sinus infections. I sure hope I don't start having trouble either. Hmmmm....another question for the appointment book.

Hi there Beach Lover,
You should get the dr to prescribe an allergy medicine like Allegra. It really helps with the sinus infection. The Z Pack will get rid of the infection, but the allergy med will get rid of the stuffiness and pressure. The OTC Claritin is pretty good too.

Re: does EVERYONE here have sunusitis?

I have a serious sinus problem, sometimes puts me in bed for days. I suggest using QUERCETIN its a natural herb.... it helped me........I'm not in bed any more!

Re: does EVERYONE here have sunusitis?

I have chronic sinusitis, but not MS. My mother also has it and does have MS. I've never heard of a correlation between the two. Sinusitis is pretty common.

Benadryl helps me, but it makes me so sleepy.
