Question for Royal & Avonex Users/secondary fibromyalgia
Roy....I saw your post about MS symptoms worsening for a time after your injections. I have the same experience! Has anyone explained to you why this is? I asked my Avonex rep, but she was as puzzled as me and is researching it for me.

Anyone else been diagnosed with secondary fibromyalgia? I'd be curious to know what you are doing to relieve symptoms.

Hi KelliD,

The only explanation I got was that Avonex may have raised my body's core temperature which caused the temporary worsening of MS symptoms.
I really didn't have a fever but it could have been so slight that I didn't notice it.
