New Symptom?????

I just started having this symptom: When I walk, or try to walk when I am feeling OK, if I walk for say 15 minutes my hands start to feel like they are swelling and the knuckles turn white and if I turn my hand over the fingertips are really red and the rest of my hand is really white. Have any of you had this symptom? I've also had feelings of something pulling on my fingers in certain places. Your thoughts on these symptoms would help out tremendously!!!! Thanks for your help!!!

Re: New Symptom?????

Michelle,

Long ago, around the time I was first being dx., my hands (especially in winter) would lose all feeling and turn white with a little bit of red, so I went to my internist. He said it was Reynalds(sp?). As I understand from others, I think it's one of those things that goes along with ms., although not always. I can't remember my knuckes ever swelling tho. In winter, I always carry my gloves with me. It usually relieved the pain and coldness to hold my hands under warm water a few minutes. I don't know that you have the same thing, but the symptoms sound kind of familiar. Take care, Sue

Beachlover247,

Thanks for your input!! I don't know if my hands are swelling but they feel like it. They don't seem to be cold when this happens either. Would they be cold? Thanks again!

Re: New Symptom?????

My Renaulds typically happens when my hands are cold. If it's not the ms. it might be a circulation problem???? I just don't know. Wish I could help more. Take care. Sue

Re: New Symptom?????

beachlover 247,

Thank you so much for your input. I also have this problem in my feet. I had an ultrasound done on my legs with blood pressure cuffs to check for circulation problems and was told that I didn't have a circulation problem. When I am cold though, my hands and feet turn blue. I wish that we could go to the doctor and actually be told EXACTLY what is wrong with us. Thanks so much for talking with me.
