What could this mean? - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

I just got the results from my neuro's office re: my MRI from Monday night. The nurse said the films showed a "remarked improvement" since my previous ones. Is the Avonex preventing new lesions? Are they smaller? I won't see him until Dec when I'll be able to see the films. Anyone have any ideas? I am just soooo relieved!

congrats, that is great news!, that is so good to hear.......

when was u'r last mri?
what could it mean??
it could mean the avonex is working for you, or the natural course, but i would like to believe the avonex is working....... all around good news.....

December seems far, but with good news like that it will fly.........

how long on avonex?

let us know the details when u see the neuro............

Last MRI was last August. Dx in Sept. Started Avonex in October '04.
I just wish I knew exactly what she meant when she said "remarked improvement." Oh, well, I guess I wait for my appt. Glad the shot is working bc it sure stinks getting through the side effects. Had the chills/sweats/aches this weekend.

Julie, sorry, my eyes and ms and what i really see and comprehend is a battle........ (rolling eyes) lol,
2nd post i mis-read.........(feel like an idiot) i thought i read "remarkable" improvement,
about "remarked" i take it as ........ as "Noted" improvement.... (?)
i would call back and ask her (im the impatient type and need to know).......
please let me know when you get the real answer.......
