| Re: Provigil
I have tried it several times and finally said that it was not for me. I took 100 mg per day for a few days, and felt pretty good, but after about 3 days, everything went downhill....and it made my paraesthesia much worse. My doctors said I had an adverse reaction to it. My neuro said you can take it on an as-needed basis, like Dixie said.
I tried 50 and I tried 25 mg. It also really interrupted my sleep, making me wake up at 3 am, even if I took it at 6 am....so, that is just my input on my experience with it. I have opted to not take anything and on the days I have great fatigue, I rest and each day, I just try to do whatever I can with the limited amt. of energy I have. I am thankful that I have a job that allows me to do that, as well.
