Oooo, robertnj, if you go a few pages into history on this board you will find some threads about LDN. Personally I'm trying to get my neuro to prescribe it. I really think it is worth a try. Still moving forward on starting Copaxone, but I really like the idea of making my immune system smart again as opposed to lobotomizing it so it won't act up.
Guess my radical side is showing, seems to me the low cost of the treatment is the main thing preventing the clinical trials that could move LDN into the mainstream for MS and other autoimmune disorders. If it weren't already known what it costs they could slap a big pricetag on it and put it on a fast track for approval. Sigh. I don't mind if they do that anyway. Perhaps we should suggest that this is an accepatable option under the current US administration? (We still buy gasoline, don't we?)
