unsure need advise - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

Thanks for reading this and I'd appreciate any advice you could give.

Well I've been having some really odd symptoms going on 6 months now, and I could use all the advise I can get. It all started when I was 17, with some normal enough things. Diahrea which came and went, some headaches, swollen lymph nodes, and alittle memory loss. At that time I was alittle worried about hiv, because I had some unprotected sex, and then got tested and all was good. The diahrea continued, but everything else just sort of went away. Then I got an outbreak of shingles, or what I think is shingles, painful purple scabs on my leg that lasted about a week, and then went away. I was also having some mouth type problems, my spit was all stuck together, and I had some problems swollowing and some nose and mouth ulcers. The spit is continueing, it's like I have no saliva, but white on my tongue and mouth, may be thrush not too sure. Next came some odd muscle twitches, they came a few weeks ago and still continue. Those were followed by painful pins and needles type pain on my legs mostly. Actually these pins leave a white scar type thing when they go away. Their like painful pin pricks that last 30-40 seconds and then go away, but leave a pronounced white line, that looks like a scar. This was followed by my left eyelid twitching, and that started a few days ago and continues. I've also had continueing very very bad depression and memory loss which has yet to go away, it somtimes borders on retardation, I've forgotten peoples names, my address, just normal things that should be no problem. One other thing that I forgot to mention was the fact I've had double vision, and at times bad vertigo, and dizziness. Also clumsiness, and I can't focus at times.
I want to say that my mom has lupus, and uncle has ms, so I don't have the best genetics, and I know it's some type of immune difficiency, but not sure yet what exactly it is, weather it be ms, or somthing else.
I've gotten an ana blood test which came up negative so that should clear me on lupus.
any advice or comments would be appreciated, thanks for listening me while I ramble on for so long.

I don't know what to say other than to wish you luck. Your symptoms don't sound like MS either, The pins and needles would, but I've never heard of it leaving marks. One thing about MS is it's not visible to most people other than the fact that we fall down, need wheelchairs sometimes and make fools of ourselves 'cause we can't remember anything because of all the holes in our brains. LOL I say this not to make light of your issue. We all just have to keep things on the lighter side to keep ourselves going. I hope you find an answer soon. Good Luck!
