so im desperatley looking for help from some people who know what MS is all about and how its diagnosed,etc. so i had vertigo a while back, had it now off and on for 5 weeks.. docs say its viral labs. now had muscle weakness in left side of body, tingling for 2 weeks or so. i had ct scan, mri of head, with and without contrast, and bloodwork, all came back normal. couple days after i started gettin muscle twitches.. during the time i had vertigo, i started gettin muscle twitches around my eyes, like eye lids and such. but after those tests they branched out to my body.. now ive been under extreme stress lately, and what neuros finally decided was that since i had been using crutches ( i had acl meniscus surgery bout 2 months ago , on cruthces for a month) that i probably pinched a nerve (crutch pasly),, and over compensation caused my leg to get weak.. now its been bout a week since then, and im all worried again. i just can't stop thinking i have some horrible disease.. now im worried the vertigo is part of MS. but wouldnt the MRI of head show this, especially if it had been causing the vertigo? ugh.. it gets to a point where im just exhausted from worrying so much.. don't really know what to do.

Sounds like you have a doctor or two that will okay a lot of tests and that's a good thing. I had a severe brain injury a year and a half ago and still haven't had an MRI with contrast! You've had a lot going on that does cause stress and certainly opportunities to have crushed nerves, I suppose. You gotta hang in there, be tough, and try not to get over-wrought with worry. Because when you go in to the drs, they will see the emotions and figure it is all due to that. (and who knows, perhaps it is). So, the main thing is to work on staying strong, remember times in the past when you were strong and "flick" those in your memory up to now. See yourself as that strong person who has endured a lot and has the courage to see it all through. Have someone good to talk to. If you start "looping" worrisome thoughts in your head, write them down or talk them out, so you have them out of your head. get plenty of sleep, and most of all PRAY! Sounds like you are on the track of getting some answers, and if you stay strong, you will get the most benefit of all the help that is out there. We're praying for you!! Let us know how it all goes.
