So I'm seeing my neuro Friday and I want to describe this thing that happens when I get tired. Anyone seen "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" (or read the books 20 times, like me)? The White Witch turns creatures into stone. The stone starts in one spot and spreads. I'd imagine that might feel dry and crackly and tingly. That's sort of how it feels, and it sort of overtakes my whole body, like when a windshield gets cracked and the whole thing shatters but stays in place.
Sigh...see why I need help with this? I'm betting someone else has felt this. Help me out!
Oh, I'm also wondering if anyone else gets lightheaded when exercising? Any relief for this? I'm using my elliptical, but have to hang on sometimes to keep my balance!
lilc, can't put no answer on your first question, second,I get extremly lightheaded from exercise,My physical Therapist has panic attacks when I get lightheaded and stumble.I can't relate it to fatique or heat.I go through 3-4 days a week.
Narnia...excellent books! OUTSTANDING movie! Interesting description of symptoms. Why not just tell the neuro you have the sensation of dry, crackly tingling that starts in one spot and then spreads, like when glass shatters in a cartoon and is covered with cracks, but holds together. I think you described it perfectly.
