Does this sound like L'hermittes? - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

I've been getting a burning, vibrating, radiation type feeling in my neck and down my spine, does this sound like L'hermittes? It's happened if I'm looking down at a newspaper or writing, etc. - I haven't read anything about a burning feeling before.
Any ideas?

Sooty, I haven't seen it described as "burning" either, but "vibrating" for sure. Does it stop instantly when you hold your head up?
For me it started with "vibration" in my lower back, it seemed to change almost daily but at one point when I went to put my key in the door of my apt the slight tip of my head made my arms and legs go numb.
(I'm happy to report that, after 11 months and 4 months on Copaxone it seems to be gone now!)
You should certainly tell your neuro about it.

Lilc, thanks for your reply, yes it does seem to stop when I lift my head back up, I haven't had what you had though - I'm glad it got better for you. As you've said, I think I will mention it to my Neuro just in case it means anything - I shall add it to my list!!
