Ok, here I go again.
This is the lastest info I've gotten. Due to the level of "drug" Rebif is, (a $1500 per month drug) my insurance offers the following:
I have to cover 10% of the cost of the medication I'm to take, while copay cannot exceed $150/month through a pharmacy.
I have to cover 10% of the cost of the medication I'm to take, while copay cannot exceed $300/3 month period if I receive meds through the mail.
Their claim to fame is that it's like getting a month free.
Now if I go with a generic brand, if available, then I'm to pay 50% of the generic brand, which i"m told that in the long run will not make up much of a difference in savings.
I hope the insurance company is enjoying pulling on my MS leg, because my good leg wants to kick them upside the head.
