I was wondering if anyone here is around my age (19) having MS, since this is a young age to develop this disorder. Also, when it affects one's vision, does the vision ever restore back to normal or will it always be blurry?

I know the diagnosis is a slow grueling process and people say MS mimics other diseases. but what about with the blurred vision? What other MS-related disorder presents blurred vision. I suppose this is why I am so convinced I have this.

First thing is probably to go get an eye exam. Could be that you need glasses....

my cousins wife was diagnosed a yr ago and i think she is only 21,, but not sure her exact age, i know she is young tho cause she only graduated school a few yrs ago, she wants a baby so bad, but can not get preggo,,, she is taking all kinda meds for that,, plus copaxone,, i told hr to come here to this website,, but she hasn;t as of yet, she doesn;t have a computer and only uses her moms when she visits there.

My sister was diagnosed when she was 21. Her first symptom was a severe case of optic neuritis. She couldn't see her hands in front of her face and was hospitalized for 7 days on steroids. I am happy to say that she did recover, almost fully, from that. Her vision with her glasses or contacts is 20/20. She does have some residual effects in that her colors aren't always as bright as they should be and some times if she is outside when it is really hot her eyes will bother her a little. She has had a few bouts with the optic neuritis again but not in both eyes and once like the first time and not as severe. I hope that helps!
