So I went to see the MS specialist in Boston today. He set me up to get a Botox evaluation and see if it is right for me- so I am looking forward to that. Also he prescribed some Zanaflex to use in conjunction with the 90mg of Baclofen I take every day. He told me to start out at 4mg 3 times a day. As soon as I left the appt. it was time for my next Baclofen dose... so I took both Baclofen and a sample Zanaflex that he gave me. 20 minutes later I could barely keep my eyes open and I had the worst "cotton mouth". We stopped to get something to eat and I could barely keep my eyes open. I passed out as soon as I got back in my moms car and then came home and took a 3 hour nap with my son! Needless to say I am alittle leary of taking more. I skipped the Zanaflex at my last dose a few hours ago because I had to run some errands and was afraid it would hit me like a ton of bricks again. I went and filled the rx and sure enough... fatigue and dry mouth are side effects. Has anyone taking Zanaflex noticed if the symptoms got better over time? I can't imagine I took too much... I took the lowest dose that there is. I do have to say... I was alot more "limber" leaving the restuarant (even though I was half asleep!!)
