question about foot tingling - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

I have a question. My right leg from knee down feels numb, but my right foot feels all prickly. When I take off my shoes it is worse. Its almost like my shoes support the foot to where it doesnt tingle as much. I know it sounds weird, hard to describe. Does anyone else have something like this?

Hi, I have a boiling hot right shin and tingly feet permenantly. It is a strange feeling. Sometimes my feet get a feeling of walking on icy cold water as well. very odd. I am on amytripyline to reduce the symptoms which is working a bit but not fully. The advantage is it knocks me out on a night and i sleep really well which i wasnt doing. I have no diagnosis yet. In sunny limbo land like lots of people. Happy tingling!

This was one of my first symptoms ,numbness and tingling.Its annoying.Its a sensory symptom.I have had this for 8 years.It comes and goes.
