About two and a half years ago, I began having severe migraines. This past year, they became unresponsive to any of the migraine meds I tried. My first MRI this past November showed just a few spots, and the doc said it could be from the migraines. I also had numbness in my left side, hearing loss in my left ear, trouble with my balance - including a bad fall with my baby. I knew something more was wrong with me - I can totally relate to what you are saying. I developed Optic Neuritis the end of February, and had a week of IV Steroids. At the same time, my doc ordered another MRI. Just three months after my first MRI, the number of lesions have tripled. My C-spine MRI also shows lesions. Do not give up. The first year and a half of this, I would have laughed if someone told me I had MS. Over this past year, it's been too obvious to deny. I had to change docs a couple of times, so make sure you take charge of your care if you are not getting the answers you need. Hang in there.
