I was originally given a dx of MS in July 2005 - I went yesterday to my neuro to have my MRI's read. Last year I had 3 - 5 lesions in my brain and one on my spine. As of yesterday I have none at all! I have been on Avonex since October. It’s such a great feeling to know I am beating this terrible disease. Just wanted to share my wonderful news and give some of you hope. I know that there were many times I wanted to stop the avonex because the side effects were so bad. But now I know its worth every second. For the first time in a year I feel "Normal"!!!
I have been on Avonex a little over 2 months and I know I am feeling pretty good but now I am really excited. I have a friend who has been on it 5 years with NO flares.
