creepy crawlers - Multiple Sclerosis Message Board

Ok, last night I went to an outdoor concert which was "love, love" but it was of course 100 degrees! I was ok (I thought) since I wore a white linen sundress. About an hour into it my muscle spams started in on me (legs, lips and arms). Then I had a new symptom...creepy crawlers. I felt like such a nut because I kept feeling like bugs were crawling up and down the back of my legs on me and I had an uncontrollable need to wipe my legs. I felt like everyone was looking at me and thinking "crazy". I am a very girly girl so I hate bugs!

I'm the person that would get hit by a buy running from a bee!

Anyway, I know that I have read about other people suffering from creepy crawlers. They have come a gone a few times since last night. What can I do abou them. I would hate to start ignoring them and there actually be a a bug on me!

I don't care for those invisible ctitters either.I feel like an idiot brushing them off of me.It has something to do with mixed signals to the nerve endings.

I have noticed that since the summer began my symptoms have become increasingly more frequent and new ones are showing up. Do think that once the weather begins to cool they'll go away? I usually have only had a twitching finger or jerking eyelid maybe a couple times a week. Now I have symptoms seems like all of the time, especially when I am sitting still. My legs just start jerking and jumping and jolting. This lip jerking is getting on my nerves too. Luckily it's not so pronounced that others can see it.
