for all of you who have vision problems. can i ask a question about how vision problems and bluriness present in MS?
I have had problems with bluriness in my left eye since my mid-20's, that's when I noticed first problems. the optometrist said my eyes were off a bit, rx'd glasses and i tried them but had frequent headaches and spectacle blur. i quit using them and then my eyes eventually got better (nobody believes this?

). as the years have gone on, i am now noticing more on and off bluriness in that eye. i've had pain (stabbing and soreness), eye weakness, a floater, etc in it over the years. and i swear that one evening going to bed when i turned out the light, i couldn't see out of that eye, but could see the nightlight and down the hall. i just went to bed thinking my eyes just weren't adjusting to turning out the light. an opthamologist said my eyes were fine a few years back.
i'm really having more frequest episodes with this eye and it's really bothering me today. i have my first neuro appt this Friday in hopes of some tests to be done to check for MS.
to get to my question (finally), i noticed yesterday that my left eye was fine, but my right eye began with the bluriness. does this normally happen in MS? for the eyes to alternate attacks of bluriness, etc? and of course, today, it's the normal left eye with the problems of bluriness again, thick feeling, and weak.
any help is appreciated. i just can't stand the way my eye feels, i just want to keep it closed so i don't have to look out of it with the bluriness.
god bless and good health to you,
michelle
