Hapless here, but still extending a happy hopeful new year to all. I didn't do diddly squat on the eve. I thought even a nice small dinner...something to celebrate but it didn't happen. Bah!

I had my cervical/thoracic mri today. I wasn't very pleased with the "service". When I had my lumbar, the tech was super cool and told me to scream if I needed anything...told me what he was doing when he was doing it. Even though I know the routine, I was a bit goosey about this two hour long event. Reassuring words would have made it more pleasant. But I didn't freak out or anything. I think I dozed off at one point.

So now I wait for the results. For the past couple of weeks I've been fatigued like you wouldn't believe, but everything else has been more manageable - up until two days ago. I went to bed at 9:30pm (certainly not my usual). Woke up at 1:00pm the next day. Yowza! By evening I was experiencing the WORST back pain / leg pain. It went from my neck to my tailbone, but my right leg was affected too and made it hard to walk. I went back to bed at 10pm and proceeded to wake up every two hours whining in pain...even through norco and zanaflex. I thought, well, all the better I guess...it will make sleeping during the mri easier.

The pain hasn't let up. I took a soak with my xmas gifts of a rubber ducky and bath pillow, thinking it would cheer me up, but I was MUCH worse and have been so since. I tried to go to sleep as I am exhausted, but I hurt too much. So I came on the computer and thought a little posting and reading may help.

I've never had problems with the contrast dye, but is there a chance it could have intensified my symptoms?

Nuffs, I read your other post and I hope you were given some guidance on what to do. I know if I am feeling how I'm feeling, how horrible you must be feeling. I hope you are doing better...and that goes for anyone else who may be having a tough time.
