Droopy face feeling?
Hello everyone,
I had previously posted a question in regards to this problem that I am having.
It is now getting worse and am hoping someone out there can help or give adivice.
I have had several health problems over the last 10 years, I am 32 yrs old.
I have been seeing 2 different Dr's but both seem stumped.
At first I was told possible MS, then I was dx with fibromyalgia(then was undiagnosed), then anxiety, next came peripheral neuropathy and finally again probable MS.
Its has been one hell of a merry go round the last 3 yrs with symptoms getting worse but still in limbo.
I have had 2 MRI's in 2004. One each of head and spine, both were done without contrast and both came out clear.
The symptoms that I am posting in regards to is of the face.
At first I got a sensation like I was wearing a mask of some sort or like there was something "stuck" on my face like a feather, a piece of fabric or something.
It also felt stiff and strange, almost numb but not tingly at all.
It began in the left upper cheek then progressed to the right.
Well after a few months it has spread to the lower part of my cheeks as well so now my whole cheeks feel this way.
The best way I can describe this sensation now is "Droopy". No tingling or pain. Just a kind of numb stiff feeling.
Sometimes I get self conscious, like someone would notice that my face was not "normal".
I do have a follow up appt with my Dr tomorrow and will for sure mention that this has gotten worse.
What I wanted to know from all of you is if any of you have experienced this before, if you have any idea what it could be from and how to "fix" it.
Thank you all in advance and take care!!
